We are currently looking for a Package Driver to work out of our Kissimmee location.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES.
Include, but are not limited to the following. All work is to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with company standards.
- Load, unload, and secure products on the truck.
- Safely deliver packaged products to customer sites
- Keep the truck clean at all times.
- Must be able to operate a forklift when needed.
- Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company's image.
- Performs daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, corrective and preventative maintenance, and documents on the driver's truck inspection sheets;
- Must maintain Driver's Daily Log in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Obey all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Other duties may be assigned
WAREHOUSE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Warehouse tasks will be assigned as needed.
- Moving inventory using a forklift.
- Loading truck with deliveries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess and maintain a Class B CDL. Hazmat Endorsement preferred but not required.
- Must be a Safety-conscious driver.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and maneuver drums safely to individual trucks to deliver fuel by hand.
- Must be able to climb ladders, bend, squat, reach, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Be able to withstand heat and extreme weather.
- Must be able to keep a fast pace while maintaining accuracy, meeting delivery window time frames, and dependable and reliable expectations
- 1 year of truck driving experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends.
- Be able to pass DOT drug test.
