Associate BOS

Accountabilities

This position focuses on supporting data analytics, reporting, and process improvement initiatives by developing and maintaining analytical solutions that help improve organizational performance and efficiency. You will work under the guidance of senior analysts while contributing to data-driven decision-making and system optimization.

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of reporting and business intelligence solutions
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into analytical queries and reporting outputs
  • Perform data analysis using relational databases and assist in building queries, programs, and automation tools
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure reports provide meaningful and reliable insights
  • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting performance improvement initiatives
  • Develop technical skills in tools such as SQL, Tableau, SAP, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Support project coordination activities, including documentation of risks, issues, and requirements
  • Participate in testing, implementation, and post-deployment evaluation of analytics solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical outputs
Requirements

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a healthcare data and business intelligence environment. You are comfortable working with databases and analytical tools while developing strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or related field (or 4 years of data analytics experience)
  • Exposure to relational database structures and experience with data analysis or reporting
  • Familiarity with SQL (Oracle or similar) and/or business intelligence tools is preferred
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and validate data
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Willingness to obtain Epic proficiency certification within the onboarding period
  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, SAP, or similar platforms is a plus
