This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on driving strategic growth across complex biotech and pharmaceutical accounts in a highly competitive global market. You will be responsible for expanding long-term client partnerships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and shaping high-value deals across multiple business units. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will lead negotiations, build strategic account plans, and ensure strong pipeline development and forecasting accuracy. The role requires a blend of commercial acumen, scientific industry understanding, and relationship-driven sales expertise. You will collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and maximize customer value. This is a high-impact position where your work directly contributes to revenue growth, strategic expansion, and long-term client retention in a global, fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding annual sales targets across assigned biotech and pharmaceutical accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, building long-term partnerships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Manage and optimize a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and proactive opportunity management
  • Lead client engagement activities including presentations, negotiations, proposal development, and contract structuring (MSAs, pricing, preferred agreements)
  • Identify new business opportunities across accounts and collaborate with other business units to maximize cross-functional revenue potential
  • Maintain deep client relationships through continuous engagement, client visits, and executive-level interactions
  • Provide competitive intelligence and market insights to inform strategy and positioning
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members while sharing best practices across the organization
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field preferred
  • Extensive experience in business development or strategic sales within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry
  • Proven track record of managing complex, high-value accounts and achieving revenue growth targets
  • Strong understanding of drug development processes and clinical research services
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level decision-makers
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in executive environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, margin analysis, and contract structuring
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in global, matrixed organizations
  • Highly consultative, client-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work across multiple time zones and occasionally adapt working hours for client needs
