Job Title: Clinical Recruiter – Behavioral Health Providers
Department: People & Talent / Clinical Operations
Reports to: Head of HR/Clinical Ops Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Clinical Recruiter to support the growth of Luna Joy’s behavioral health provider network across the United States. This role will focus on sourcing, engaging, screening, and coordinating the hiring process for licensed mental health providers and medication management clinicians, including PMHNPs, Supervising Physicians/MDs, Psychiatrists, Therapists, Counselors, and other behavioral health professionals.

Manage full-cycle recruitment for behavioral health and psychiatric provider roles
Source and recruit:
- Licensed Mental Health Providers (LMHPs)
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs)
- Psychiatrists
- Supervising Physicians / MDs
- Therapists, Counselors, and Behavioral Health Clinicians
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and outbound outreach campaigns
- Conduct candidate screenings to evaluate licensure, qualifications, experience, and alignment with Luna Joy’s mission and culture
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clinical leadership teams
- Collaborate with credentialing and operations teams to ensure providers meet compliance and licensing requirements
- Track recruitment metrics and candidate progress within ATS/CRM systems
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure an exceptional candidate experience
- Support offer preparation, negotiations, onboarding coordination, and provider start timelines
- Develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and multi-state provider positions
- Assist with workforce planning and ongoing hiring strategy discussions
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, or clinical recruiting
- Experience recruiting licensed healthcare providers strongly preferred
- Familiarity with behavioral health and medication management roles, including PMHNPs and supervising physicians
- Understanding of provider licensure, credentialing, and compliance processes
- Experience using ATS/CRM platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Strong sourcing, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience recruiting in telehealth or multi-state healthcare environments
- Familiarity with behavioral health regulations and provider supervision requirements
- Experience using Gem, Greenhouse, Lever, Rippling, or similar recruiting platforms
- Knowledge of healthcare staffing metrics and recruitment reporting.

Interview ProcessHR Screen:
The first phase involves an initial screening with HR. During this stage, we will discuss your experience, skills, and alignment with Luna Joy’s values and culture. This step ensures that you meet the basic qualifications and provides an opportunity for you to learn more about the company and the role.
Candidates who pass the HR screen will move on to an interview with the Hiring Manager. In this phase, we dive deeper into your recruiting experience, sourcing strategies, and ability to manage provider pipelines. The Hiring Manager will assess your fit within the team and your ability to contribute to Luna Joy’s mission.
After the second phase, successful candidates will move to the offer stage. We will present a formal offer that includes compensation, benefits, and any additional details about the role. This is also your opportunity to ask any final questions before making your decision.
Once the offer is accepted, the onboarding process begins. You will be guided through Luna Joy’s recruiting workflows, systems, provider processes, and team collaboration standards to ensure a smooth transition into your role.
