Kitchen Hood/Exhaust Cleaning Technician - Third Shift

What is Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning?

This is a very physically demanding job that has great growth potential. Our technicians climb inside of the hood systems as well as climb on the roof with pressure washers to ensure the entire system is free of all grease.Degreasing commercial hood systems

Power washing of kitchen exhaust hood systems, ductwork, hood filters and more

Clean rooftop exhaust fans and surrounding areas

Installation of auxiliary items including; access panels, hinge kits, and grease containment systems

Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD

This is a remote crew that is local to the Rochester/Buffalo area but reports to our New Jersey and Pennsylvania branch. The technicians do not physically go to these shops once training is completed. All of the work is local and within about an hour's radius, and you will be traveling in a company-provided work truck. Some overnight traveling will be required.

What do you need to become a Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Tech?

Ability to work overnight with varying shift times - Shifts can start as early as 5 pm and as late as 12 am

Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work in high places

Ability to endure all weather conditions - a portion of each shift is outside on rooftops

Physically demanding position - you will be on your feet, climbing ladders, and using heavy equipment

Strong work ethic - dependable, reliable, and trustworthy

What do you need to be considered for a driving position?

Valid driver’s license is required – company truck provided from shop to job site
You must be at least 20 years old
A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required
