Senior Electrical Assembler

Position Summary

The Senior Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical control systems and panels used in industrial machinery. This role requires interpreting electrical schematics, installing and terminating wiring, and ensuring systems are built according to engineering specifications and safety standards.

The position requires strong electrical knowledge, experience with industrial wiring and components, and the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues during assembly and machine testing.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and wire electrical control panels and machine components according to electrical schematics and engineering drawingsRoute, strip, crimp, and terminate wiring for motors, sensors, switches, relays, and other electrical devicesPerform soldering and electrical terminations using hand tools and electrical assembly equipmentDrill and tap panels or machine components to mount electrical hardware and componentsInstall electrical components such as breakers, relays, terminal blocks, PLC components, and power suppliesPerform electrical system testing to verify proper operationTroubleshoot electrical systems and components is a plus

Qualifications

Strong understanding of electrical systems, industrial wiring, and control componentsExperience with wire stripping, crimping, soldering, and electrical terminationsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawingsExperience assembling or wiring industrial control panels or machineryMechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical hand tools4-6 years of electrical assembly experience, preferred Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferredStrong attention to detail, organization, and time managementAbility to work both independently and in a team environment
