Looking for meaningful Part Time work with a flexible schedule? The Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut is seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Part-Time Human Resources & Office Coordinator. In this role, you will support the Director of Human Resources while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
ScheduleThis part-time position offers approximately 25 hours per week with a flexible weekday schedule, making it an excellent opportunity for someone seeking work–life balance while contributing to a mission-driven organization that supports older adults and caregivers in our community.
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We are seeking someone who can work in our office 4–5 days per week for approximately 5 hours per day, with flexibility in scheduling within our regular office hours.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & OnboardingConduct initial phone screens for candidates
Perform reference checks
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
Assist with new hire onboarding coordination
Help plan and organize new employee welcome lunches
Maintain and organize personnel files
Scan and file HR documents in accordance with agency procedures
Assist with HR administrative tasks and recordkeeping
HR Audit Support
Support planning and coordination of employee events and engagement activities
Provide front desk coverage during lunch hours
Coordinate with office vendors including:
Coffee and breakroom supply orders
Landlord
Cleaning Company
Office supply vendors
Assist with general office administrative tasks to support a smooth office environment
