About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Outpatient Services provides strategic, clinical, and administrative leadership for all outpatient behavioral health programs. This position ensures that high-quality, trauma-informed, and evidence-based services are delivered in compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards. The Director oversees clinical staff and operations, drives program development, and promotes a culture of accountability, innovation, and client-centered care.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Clinical Leadership:- Provide clinical supervision to licensed and unlicensed clinicians in accordance with supervisory requirements.
- Ensure use of evidence-based and best-practice clinical models across outpatient programs.
- Oversee development and implementation of treatment protocols, documentation standards, and outcome measures.
- Review and approve clinical documentation to ensure compliance with licensing, funding, and payer requirements.
- Serve as a resource for complex case consultation and crisis response.
- Oversee daily operations of outpatient behavioral health services, including therapy, psychiatry, and case management.
- Manage departmental budgets, productivity standards, and service delivery outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to identify new programs, partnerships, and funding opportunities.
- Lead program evaluation, quality improvement, and data reporting efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and oversight agencies (e.g., AHCA, DCF, Medicaid).
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards, best practices, and contract deliverables.
- Promote trauma-informed care by supporting staff well-being, self-care, and use of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- Monitor effectiveness and fidelity of trauma-informed practices.
- Serve as a liaison to referral sources, community partners, and funding agencies.
- Represent the organization at community meetings and professional events.
- Build collaborative relationships with schools, hospitals, courts, and social service systems.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Education & Experience:
- Must hold a master's degree Social Work or related area of study from an accredited university and has at least 2 years of experience in working with at-risk populations to include families experiencing substance misuse, domestic violence, and mental health.
- Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of documented supervisory experience
- Florida licensure as a LMFT, LMHC or LCSW, Qualified Supervisor Preferred
- Preferred knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed principles and practices, including the importance of creating a safe environment, fostering trust, promoting collaboration, and empowering individuals.

- Ability to work at a high level of autonomy, and exhibit sound decision-making skills and critical thinking
- Proven problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
- Skilled in actively listening to concerns, providing a safe space for individuals to express themselves without judgment or blame
Physical Requirements:
Position requires employee to work with computers daily. Ability to travel in multi-county areas frequently. Ability to lift 25 pounds, bend, stand or sit for extended periods of time.
