Staff Pharmacist- Per-diem at MerrimackHealth – Lawrence, Massachusetts

At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $57.27 - $85.10, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.

Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.

The Staff Pharmacist ensures optimal drug therapy by designing therapy, monitoring and dispensing medications, and directing the work of supportive staff to maximize positive patient outcomes. Prepares and dispenses all medication for hospital use according to ethical practice of pharmacy in conjunction with state and federal laws, rules, regulations, and recognized standards and practice guidelines. Checks all medication orders for potential drug-drug interactions and drug allergies. Provide dosing calculations, adverse drug reaction (ADR) surveillance and reporting.

Prior hospital and clinical experience strongly preferred; will consider license pharmacists with retail background to train.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Massachusetts Pharmacist licensure required. Doctor of Pharmacy degree and at least 1 year hospital pharmacy experience or Pharmacy Residency preferred.
