POSITION SUMMARY

• Implements treatment plans developed and supervised by a Licensed Physical Therapist in an attempt to prevent disability following disease/injury, while helping the patient reach his/her maximum performance. Provides input regarding patient's response to treatment and progress. Performs in accordance with standards of Physical Therapy practice that are ethical and legal in North Carolina.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum Required:

  • Associate Degree from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program for Physical Therapy Assistants.

  • Current North Carolina license or license eligible.

  • BCLS Certification; recertification required annually.

  • May require valid NC Driver's license and access to use of an automobile.
