Salary: Minimum $44,000 - Maximum $50,000
Type: Full-Time – Exempt

Department Overview

What You’ll Do
- Oversee the daily maintenance, repair, and overall operation of YMCA facilities and equipment
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for building systems, equipment, and grounds
- Oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of maintenance staff to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
- Ensure facility and team compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors for facility repairs and service needs
- Maintain facility cleanliness, safety standards, and operational readiness for programs and events
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility emergencies
- Monitor building systems and ensure safe operation of all facility equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and service documentation
- Support YMCA programs and staff by ensuring facilities remain safe and functional for members and participants
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a related field preferred
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance systems
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and tasks efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage facility operations effectively
- Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and communication
- CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) preferred
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for YMCA members and staff
