Position Overview

SERVPRO Team Fabiani is seeking a detail-oriented In-Office Mitigation Estimator with strong experience writing Fire, Water, Mold, and Biohazard estimates in Xactimate and Symbility. This position supports our mitigation division by creating accurate, compliant estimates, managing TPA uploads, and maintaining high documentation standards for insurance carriers and customers.

Key Responsibilities

    Write detailed and accurate mitigation estimates in Xactimate and/or Symbility for Fire, Water, Mold, and Biohazard projects.
  • Review photos, moisture logs, job notes, and field data to ensure accurate scope and pricing.
  • Upload estimates and supporting documentation to Third-Party Administrator (TPA) portals
  • (Alacrity, Contractor Connection, Sedgwick, etc.) within required timelines.
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters, mitigation managers, and customers to clarify scope and support estimate approvals.
  • Track and monitor estimate revisions, approvals, and compliance to maintain top TPA performance scores.
  • Assist with job costing, documentation review, and internal file accuracy.
  • Support the Mitigation Manager and field team by identifying missing scope items and ensuring consistent estimating practices.

Qualifications & Skills

    2+ years of experience writing mitigation estimates in Xactimate and/or Symbility.
  • In-depth understanding of Water, Fire, Mold, and Biohazard mitigation practices.
  • Experience with insurance carriers and TPA programs required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SERVPRO job management systems preferred.
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, AMRT, etc.) highly preferred.
  • Reconstruction estimating knowledge is a plus, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Schedule & Compensation

  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)
