Experienced Garage Door Install Technician at Wayne Overhead Door Sales and Home Improvements – Dayton, Ohio

We are looking for a motivated, experienced garage door install/service technician to join our growing staff. Your main duties will be installing garage doors in residences and commercial buildings, as well as training new technicians. Since our business specializes in remodels, new installations, and repairs, technicians will visit various project sites, and no two days will be the same.

You'll be interacting with customers on a daily basis across all of our service areas, so you must possess excellent customer service skills. A person with experience using power tools and a fundamental knowledge of how electrical systems are wired and connected would be an ideal candidate for this position. $60,000 - $80,000 yearly

• Provide a complete evaluation and precise diagnosis of any issues with the current system, after which present the customer with their options
• Be on time for all appointments, and put forth your best effort to satisfy customers
• Use software to take notes, create quotes, and send invoices
• Attend meetings, follow all company policies, and participate in decision-making
• Check the location and measure openings for installation when working on larger jobs

• A solid understanding of electrical circuitry and connections
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to use a measuring tape along with math and problem-solving skills
• Competent in the use of both power tools and hand tools
