Housekeeper FT at UCP of Maine – Bangor, Maine

Opening for a Full Time (30 hours/week) Housekeeper at our Elizabeth Levinson Center. ELC is 14 bed Intermediate Care Facility. Come Join a Fun Friendly Environment! Benefits included!

POSITION SUMMARY

AT ELC, you will perform assigned cleaning duties throughout the facility based on a schedule. This will include daily light duty cleaning including bed making, disinfecting, removing trash and stocking items. You'd also be performing some deep cleanings including scrubbing, window cleaning, mopping, and other tasks. In the event of laundry staff absence, you'd also be a fill in laundry person.

• Valid State of Maine driver license.
• Proof of Influenza vaccinations; Tuberculosis test; proof of immunity from MMR, Varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis-B.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, lift at least 35 pounds, and push and pull against potential resistance.
• Adequate vision, reading, writing and documentation skills, and hearing to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Ability to maintain assigned work hours, having sufficient endurance to perform tasks over extended periods.
