POSITION SUMMARY
To move and store warehouse products, containers, forklifts, and other equipment in order to maintain accurate product inventory and meet customer orders. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the distribution center operations including but not limited to shipping and receiving, warehouse facility and equipment maintenance. Work with cross-functional departments as it relates to the distribution center operations and ensure prompt and timely resolution of any issues. This position also involves picking up and delivering parts and/or supplies from the parts department to customers and/or other Equipment Depot branches in CA.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Stage and load outgoing warehouse products orders onto customer or company vehicles; unload and store any incoming warehouse products in warehouse or yard.
- Complete all documentation of inventory and orders; maintain inventory tracking.
- Compares identifying information and counts or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Ensures proper execution of all policies and procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and returns.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage. Determines method of shipment.
- Assist walk-in customers with warehouse product order fulfillment
- Ensure and maintain the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment.
- Maintain an orderly and clean warehouse. Sweeping of cabinets, floors, recycle area clean, etc.
- Use inventory tracking software and internal computer communication systems (such as Gmail)
- Performs cycle counting, consignment, van stock counting.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Routes items to departments or different branches.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to operate a forklift, hand truck, and/or cart safely.
- Assemble pallet jacks
- Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
- Assists parts specialists with customer/technician service-related work.
- Drives company vehicle to pick up parts and/or supplies from the Parts Department to customers and/or other Equipment Depot branches in California, and/or consignment locations.
- Travel to local vendors to pick up parts and supplies needed by the Parts or Service department, which is responsible for picking up and delivering parts, tools, and miscellaneous items to sites as dispatched.
- Responsible for maintaining recovery of waste items from branches or storage facilities and disposing of them properly.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Experience: 3-5 years of inventory control/warehouse management experience.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheets, internet, order processing software and database software.
Other Requirements: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization, prioritization and multitasking skills. Must have a driver’s license.
