Job Overview:

Salary/Pay Rate: $25 to $40 per hour (based on experience).

Project Scope: Structural & Misc. Steel (Commercial, Industrial, Government or Federal)
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: OSHA10, AWS Welding Certificate, CPR-First Aid.
The Opportunity: You will join a specialized Design & Technical team as a master of your craft, turning complex blueprints into high-end structural and custom metal projects. This role offers the variety and challenge of custom fabrication, allowing you to showcase your technical skills in a shop that rewards precision and craftsmanship over mass production.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Execute high-precision MIG and Stick welding on structural and miscellaneous steel components.
Interpret intricate shop drawings and blueprints to ensure all fittings meet exact project specifications.
Transform raw metal materials through expert cutting, grinding, and fitting for industrial and government builds.
Perform rigorous quality control inspections on your own work to ensure structural integrity and clean finishes.
Solve complex assembly challenges on the fly for custom projects that require critical thinking and adaptation.
Maintain a highly organized and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards and shop protocols.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in welding and metal fabrication.
Active AWS Welding Certification and OSHA10 safety training.
Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes safely in a factory setting.
Proven proficiency in reading technical blueprints, fabrication specs, and utilizing precision measuring tools.
Demonstrated ability to operate fabrication equipment including saws, torches, and grinders safely.
Ability to lift 50+lbs.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Hands-on experience with stick welding in addition to MIG/TIG proficiency.
Background in commercial or industrial fabrication for structural steel applications.
OSHA, First Aid, CPR Training.
