Summary:
The Senior Vice President of Finance serves as a key member of the Finance leadership team, responsible for the responsible for enterprise-wide financial strategy, reporting, accounting, and analysis. This role will collaborate with other senior executives to drive the company’s strategic growth objectives, optimize financial performance, and maintain financial stability.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement financial plans that align with the company’s financial strategy and enterprise growth objectives
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, Board, and executive leadership on financial performance, risks, and opportunities
Oversee the organization’s budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting
Enhance FP&A capabilities with advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and automation
Lead capital structure strategy, liquidity management, and funding optimization
Direct investor reporting, including quarterly presentations, MD&A, and financial disclosures.
Lead rating agency engagement and strategy
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and policies, including GAAP and regulatory requirements
Build, lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration and development.
Drive margin expansion, cost optimization, and ROI improvement across the organization.
Lead finance transformation initiatives, including ERP optimization, automation, and data strategy.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provide executive oversight and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Executive-level communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership, investors, auditors, and legal counsel.
Strong strategic thinking with ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment where priorities change quickly and demands are high
Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
Advanced analytical and financial modeling expertise
Proven ability to lead in complex, fast-paced, highly regulated environments.
Strong transformation and change leadership capabilities
Comfortable executing with limited direction and shifting priorities
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with demonstrated academic achievement; MBA or advanced Finance degree a plus.
15-20 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting or business management (Big 4, Investment Banking, Consulting) with heavy emphasis on financial planning and analysis
Proven experience in finance leadership, enterprise financial strategy development, and implementation
Prior mortgage servicing or origination experience strongly preferred.
