Why This Role Matters
As Senior Accountant, you will be a key member of the accounting team, working closely with the Corporate Controller to support a timely and accurate month-end close, maintain clean accounting records, and strengthen financial controls. You will also assist with merger & acquisition (M&A) related activities as we continue to scale.
What You'll Do
- Support the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries and accruals with detailed supporting documentation
- Own balance sheet account reconciliations; research and resolve reconciling items quickly
- Support monthly financial reporting, including variance/flux explanations and trend analysis
- Maintain general ledger integrity; continuously improve close process and documentation
- Support internal control processes appropriate for a scaling environment
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and cut-off
- Assist with M&A activities, including diligence requests and post-close integration tasks
- Leverage NetSuite to enhance reporting, close efficiency, and process automation
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Admin (accounting experience relative) Required
- 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience (senior/staff level)
- Strong month-end close experience and account reconciliations
- ERP experience required; NetSuite experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls basics
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- High ownership mindset (“go-getter”), comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment
- Multi-entity and intercompany accounting experience is a plus
- Able to work onsite at least 2 days/week in Mokena, IL (hybrid)

The pay range for this role is:
80,000 - 105,000 USD per year(Mokena)
