This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Logistics & Procurement Coordinator in Italy.
This role is focused on keeping logistics, procurement, and supplier operations running smoothly in a fast-moving and highly coordinated environment. You will play a key part in ensuring timely shipments, efficient supplier collaboration, and optimized procurement workflows. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate confidently with external partners to resolve operational issues quickly. You will work across logistics scheduling, vendor coordination, and inventory tracking while helping improve overall process efficiency. This is a hands-on, remote role where proactivity and problem-solving directly impact business continuity. You will collaborate closely with 3PL partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to keep operations aligned and efficient.
- Manage and optimize logistics scheduling to ensure efficient movement and delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with 3PL providers to track shipments, resolve delays, and expedite deliveries when needed.
- Support procurement processes by working with ingredient suppliers and external vendors.
- Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding new logistics and trucking partners.
- Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
- Maintain and analyze operational data using advanced Excel for tracking shipments, inventory, and procurement metrics.
- Work within ERP systems (such as Odoo) to manage logistics workflows and operational records.
- Proactively identify operational issues and implement solutions to prevent delays or disruptions.
- Communicate directly with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners via phone and email to resolve urgent matters.
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or procurement-related roles.
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel, including data tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Comfortable making direct phone calls to vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Hands-on experience working with 3PL providers and coordinating supply chain activities.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to act independently and proactively.
- Ability to work aligned with Pacific Time Zone hours.
- Experience working in remote environments with distributed teams.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoo is a strong plus.
- Experience in vendor sourcing, onboarding, or procurement is an advantage.
- Background in consumer goods, ingredient sourcing, or logistics optimization is a plus.
