Estimator, Interior Renovations at Renova One – Dallas, Texas

JOB SUMMARY: Renova One is seeking an Estimator, Interior Renovations, to support our growing Interior Renovations (IR) division. This role is critical to improving the speed, accuracy, and consistency of our bid process across multi-family renovation projects. This individual will own the full estimating lifecycle - from scope review and takeoffs to vendor pricing and final bid submission - while partnering closely with project managers and operations to ensure projects are set up for success from day one. The ideal candidate brings strong estimating experience within interior renovations and understands how to build competitive, accurate bids in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for interior renovation projects
• Review scopes, drawings, and project details to develop complete bid packages
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis across labor, materials, and subcontractors
• Source and manage vendor/subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive bids
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to support pricing and execution
• Ensure all bids meet internal standards for accuracy, completeness, and margin expectations
• Partner with Project Managers to align scope, budget, and execution strategy
• Support bid revisions, value engineering, and scope clarifications as needed
• Assist with occasional project management support depending on workload and project needs
• Track and manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting tight turnaround timelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 3 years of experience in estimating within the flooring, construction, or renovation industry
• Experience in floorcovering estimating/installation
• Strong understanding of materials, labor costs, and installation processes for flooring and renovations
• Commercial flooring experience would be a plus
• Some experience in Field supervision/Project Management in flooring
• Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and blueprint reading
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
