Accounts Payable Clerk at Niemann Foods – Quincy, Illinois

To record the invoices and expenses generated at store level via computer data entry. To give support to store personnel on accounting issues and correspond with vendors on related issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Entry and scanning/indexing of vendor invoices into accounting software
• Responsible for the invoicing side of a group of assigned stores
• Intake and distribution of store documents
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Clear communication with store team members and vendors
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Or related experience and/or training;
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Proficiency with Office suite of products and familiarity with office equipment

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write correspondence and communicate appropriately with others.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other associates of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

PAY RANGE (depends on industry experience)
