Medical Assistant - Family Practice Clinic at Baxter Health – Mountain Home, Arkansas

$1,000 / 1 Year Commitment Incentive*

In this position you will assist providers with utilization of Cerner Ambulatory EMR in terms of patient intake; communicate effectively and politely with patients in order to obtain information necessary for the medical intake process; answer phone calls and take accurate messages; make daily appointment reminder phone calls; schedule/reschedule appointments; assist with necessary clerical duties that contribute to the clinic; assist the providers with any additional charting, documentation, patient care responsibilities deemed necessary; and clinic float coverage when needed, including, but not limited to, assistance with oncology clinic and infusion center coverage.

Requirements include:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferences include:

• A minimum of two (2) years' work experience and/or medical office experience, and
• AR Nurse Assistant Certification

Safety Sensitive Designation:
This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
