Position Summary:We are searching for the Sales Engineer in Netherlands who will work directly with Account Executives to develop sales strategies with the customers and evaluate functional/technical needs. This position will provide demos to customers of core products and propose designs and validations. Acting as a technical account leader, the Senior Sales Engineer will drive the European Sales Engineering team and help the customer understand the SPS product and offering and be a trusted advisor.Key Responsibilities: 



Lead product demonstrations and technical presentations during pre-sales discussions, effectively articulating value propositions for complex, multi-product solutions to cross-functional stakeholders
Analyse customer needs and recommend products and/or services as an ERP subject matter expert
Create and support bid proposals and suggest additional sales opportunities.
Maintain extensive knowledge of complex aspects of products and systems in collaboration with the global team
Function as the primary technical resource, addressing complex client requests on product function and usage, and managing sales support escalations.
Provide technical consultations and knowledge transfer with sales staff/trainers/product support
Mentor and coach the sales engineers in Europe driving adherence to sales process quality assurance standards.
Ensure technical integrity and quality assurance across all active sales opportunities to validate accuracy and consistency in proposed solutions


Required Qualifications: 



Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of relevant experience; or equivalent education and experience
Experience presenting detailed solutions utilizing skills in IT project management, consulting, and implementation
Innovate and iterate in real time when presented with complex problems
Ability to step into and out of complex supply chain sales cycles and have a high impact while providing credibility
Exhibit dynamic teamwork to successfully deploy sales campaigns
Demonstrates clear, concise, and confident communication skills - verbal, non-verbal, and written, including the ability to adjust tone and inflection appropriately, actively listen, and produce relevant, engaging content.
Demonstrative behaviours around integrity, curiosity, engagement, self-driven initiative, collaboration, relationship building, customer engagement/support, and leadership expectations
Willingness and ability to mentor and train new and less experienced Sales Engineers
Fluent in English and in Dutch and ideally also Spanish, French or German.



Preferred Experience:


Business/ERP system knowledge or demo skills
Prior CPG, Retail, Supply Chain experience
Experience with e-Invoicing
Proven competence with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a CRM, preferably Salesforce.com

Location:


This role is in our Breukelen office, Netherlands and the team is in-office 2 days per week. The role will involve on-site visits to clients as needed.
