What You’ll Do:

Auditing and Compliance Oversight:

  • Audit CRM and portfolio management systems to verify data accuracy and adherence to firm policies and Investment Policy Statements.
  • Review client accounts for deviations from CGAN guidelines, documenting findings and coordinating resolution.
  • Monitor routine portfolio activity to ensure consistency with client objectives and established compliance standards.
  • Provide decision-making support on accounts that fall outside CGAN policies, escalating as appropriate.

Research and Analytics:

  • Prepare and maintain investment research and marketing collateral in support of the Chief Market Strategist
  • Maintain and troubleshoot client and internal reports to ensure accuracy and timely distribution.
  • Analyze portfolio performance across asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternatives.
  • Prepare trade tax projections to support client tax planning and asset-gathering initiatives.
  • Participate in Investment Committee preparation and meetings.

Advisor and Team Support:

  • Support advisors on better understanding wealth strategies.
  • Assist with new wealth advisor onboarding and strategy adoption to advance CGAN’s business development goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver portfolio performance insights and operational improvements.
  • Assist with routine portfolio maintenance tasks, including rebalancing and systematic transactions, as needed.
Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in investment markets and data.
  • Valid Series 65 license required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Experience with portfolio rebalancing systems; familiarity with Orion Eclipse is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of trade processes, error resolution, and compliance best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and with Financial Advisors.
