As an Associate on our Audit Team, you will utilize your educational background as well as your organizational skills as you work closely with colleagues on a variety of assignments for clients of the Firm. Our audit engagements are in many industries including: manufacturing, distribution, technology, life sciences, retail, hospitality, construction, real estate, healthcare and non-profit. We also audit 100+ EBPs, and to a lesser degree, perform due diligence, projection, AUP, and review engagements. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, operations, and industry environment to effectively support audit planning and execution.
  • Perform diversified accounting and auditing procedures for for-profit and nonprofit clients across multiple industries, in accordance with firm methodology, GAAP, and applicable professional standards.
  • Prepare financial statements and related disclosures, including tying out schedules and supporting documentation, and assist in ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Prepare clear, well-organized audit workpapers and perform detailed testing of assigned audit areas, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
  • Understand the relationship between financial statement accounts and underlying processes in order to identify risks, inconsistencies, and areas requiring further analysis or follow-up.
  • Communicate regularly with engagement team members and client personnel to request, clarify, and provide information in a professional and timely manner.
  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities by managing workload effectively, meeting deadlines, and proactively escalating questions or issues as appropriate.
  • Collaborate as a team player while demonstrating initiative and the ability to multitask across multiple engagements and priorities.
  • Assist with special projects and firm initiatives as needed, including research, process improvements, and internal development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • CPA or CPA track highly preferred
  • 1-4+ years prior experience in public accounting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High proficiency in use of computers and applicable software programs
  • Detail-oriented, fast learner
  • Works well on a team/team player
  • Strong work ethic and ability to operate in a fast paced environment

This is a full-time position with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours, including some evenings and weekends, will be required during peak seasons. This is not a remote position.

Pay Range:

The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.

$73,000.00 - $85,000.00
