Job Summary:
The Medical Clinic Administrator oversees the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the outpatient medical clinic to ensure efficient patient flow, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery. This role serves as the operational bridge between clinical staff, administrative teams, volunteers, and leadership, supporting a patient-centered, volunteer-driven care model. This position may require travel between clinic locations to support operational and patient care needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage daily clinic operations, patient flow, and room utilization
- Supervise front desk, scheduling, eligibility, and support staff
- Coordinate clinic schedules, provider coverage, and volunteer workflows
- Ensure compliance with AZDHS, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal policies
- Oversee intake processes, documentation accuracy, and EMR workflows
- Support inventory, supplies, and equipment readiness
- Monitor operational metrics (visits, no-shows, throughput, capacity)
- Serve as point of contact for patient service issues and operational escalations
- Collaborate with leadership on process improvement and clinic expansion
Minimum Hiring Qualifications
- 3+ years of healthcare operations or clinic management experience
- 1+ years of experience with EMR systems, scheduling platforms, Windows, MS Office, and the internet
- Bilingual (English and Spanish), both written and verbal, is required per operational need.
Preferred skills/abilities
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field (preferred)

Physical Requirements:
The ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds is required for this position.
