Position Summary
The Line Cook is a key member of the kitchen and front-of-house team, responsible for preparing high-quality food and beverages while supporting an efficient, clean, and guest-focused environment. This role involves preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and food safety standards, maintaining kitchen organization and equipment, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food items following established recipes and quality standards.Assistin menu planning and developing new recipes.Ensure food preparation istimelyandcomplies withfood safety guidelines.Maintain a clean and organizedworkstation.Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smoothoperations.Monitor stock levels and place orders for supplies as needed.Handle and store food items according to proper food safety and sanitation standards.Adhere to all Arizona state and local food safety and sanitation regulations.Assistin training new kitchen staff members.Participate in regular kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks.Ensure all kitchen equipment is properlymaintainedand report any malfunctions.Cashier and Front of House
Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer serviceAccurately take orders and input them into the POS systemHandle cash, credit, and mobile transactions responsiblyPrepare and serve protein shakes, smoothies, and other menu items as ordered, ensuring consistency and qualityMaintain a clean and organized front-of-house area (lobby, register, condiment station, etc.)Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and nutritional contentEnsure orders are completed correctly and promptlyRestock supplies andmonitorinventory levels for front-of-house itemsSupport team members during busy shifts (e.g., delivering orders, packaging to-go items)Follow all food safety and cleanliness standardsAssistwith opening/closing duties as neededQualifications
Previousexperience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar food service role.Proficiencyin food preparation techniques and cooking methods.Ability to follow recipes and adhere toportioncontrol guidelines.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Understanding ofArizona food safety laws and regulations.Ability to pass a food handler's certification course and obtain an Arizona Food Handler’s Card as required by Arizona law.Basic math skills for recipe adjustments and inventory management.Physical ability to stand forlong periodsand lift 40lbs and above.Monday to Saturday Opening 6am - 8pm Closing
