What You’ll Do
As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our community runs smoothly and looks its best:
- Complete work orders for repairs and maintenance across grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment, and vehicles—efficiently and cost-effectively
- Perform routine inspections and implement preventative maintenance plans (weekly, quarterly, annually)
- Maintain and service key systems and equipment, including:
- Fire and sprinkler systems
- Property generators
- Landscaping and outdoor areas
- Kitchen equipment
- Emergency pull cord systems
- Support HVAC system operation and general facility functionality
- Order maintenance supplies and collaborate with leadership on larger repair projects and budgeting
- Respond to urgent maintenance needs, including after-hours emergencies as needed
- Previous property maintenance experience (required)
- High School diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks and adapt to interruptions
- Comfortable working with tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Willingness to be on call for emergencies
- A compassionate, respectful approach to working with seniors
