Technology Specialist – Support Desk Level 1
Location: Coppell, TX (In-Office; occasional client site visits)
Company: ActaMSP, a Datamax Inc. Company
Salary: $48,000 – $50,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with occasional after-hours/on-call support)
Position Overview
ActaMSP is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Technology Specialist – Support Desk Level 1 to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology and enjoy helping clients solve technical issues in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong balance of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills, providing exceptional support to our managed service clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support to managed service clients using tools such as Autotask
- Respond promptly to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Monitor and maintain client environments through proactive IT management
- Manage and support TechCare® IT service accounts
- Accurately document all technical work, time tracking, and client interactions
- Maintain and contribute to internal knowledgebase documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service while resolving technical issues efficiently
Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- Help desk or technical support experience
- Windows 10/11 environments
- Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- Ticketing systems (e.g. Autotask, or similar)
- Kaseya or other RMM tools
- Phone-based customer support
- Email configuration and troubleshooting
- VoIP phone systems
- Network printers and copiers
