Finance Director - Brand Outsourcing

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Finance Director - Brand Outsourcing in Ireland .

This senior finance leadership role focuses on driving financial excellence across complex, resource-intensive outsourcing programs operating at scale. You will act as a key strategic partner to operational and commercial leaders, ensuring financial discipline, forecasting accuracy, and strong governance across multiple projects and portfolios. The role combines hands-on financial management with high-level advisory responsibilities, including scenario planning, risk management, and profitability optimization. You will play a central role in supporting decision-making across delivery, operations, and business development functions. Working in a fast-paced, global environment, you will help ensure projects are delivered on budget, with strong financial performance and transparency. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong analytical capability and confident stakeholder engagement at senior level.

Accountabilities:
  • Act as the primary finance business partner to Brand Outsourcing leadership and project stakeholders, providing strategic financial insight and decision support.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning activities across project and portfolio levels, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational plans.
  • Monitor financial performance across multiple engagements, ensuring spend control, margin protection, and early identification of risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain financial models that assess the impact of scope changes, resourcing decisions, and operational risks on project outcomes.
  • Support end-to-end project financial management, including modelling, setup, tracking, reconciliation, and close-out activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, contracts, billing, and compliance to ensure financial accuracy and governance.
  • Drive corrective actions when financial performance deviates from expectations and support continuous improvement of financial processes and tools.
  • Where applicable, lead and develop finance team members supporting outsourcing operations, ensuring consistency and capability development.

Requirements:

  • 12–15+ years of experience in finance, including strong exposure to commercial finance and project-based financial management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in complex, delivery-driven or outsourcing environments, ideally within professional services or similar industries.
  • Strong expertise in financial forecasting, scenario planning, financial modelling, and risk management.
  • Solid commercial acumen with a strong focus on profitability, margin protection, and financial performance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in fast-paced and changing environments.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced MS Office tools.
