Accounting Specialist

Step into a key role on our finance team where your work really matters. In this position, you'll support the accounting department by handling day-to-day accounts receivable and payroll tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). If you're detail-oriented, enjoy working with numbers, have very strong Excel skills and want to grow your career in accounting, this role is a great next step.

Key Responsibilities:

§ Creates customer invoices on a daily basis.

§ Cash application on a daily basis

§ Creates customer statements on a monthly basis

§ Communicating with customers regard past due invoices

§ Processing Payroll on Bi-Weekly Basis

§ Maintain employee profiles in Paycor & M1 (erp system)

Qualifications:

§ Associates degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required

§ Strong Microsoft Office/Excel Skills

§ Strong technical, analytical and communication skills

§ Experience with ERP systems; preferably M-1

§ Experience with Payroll systems, preferably Paycor

§ Able to work independently and with other team members

§ Able to work effectively with end users and understands business needs and expectations.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive Hourly Wage: $24.00-$30.00 p/h DOE
