Position: Parking Enforcement Supervisor
Pay Rate: $26/hour
The Spirit Of the position
The Parking Enforcement Supervisor oversees daily parking enforcement and operational activities, ensuring compliance with LAZ and City policies, performance standards, and customer service expectations
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and evaluate parking enforcement and technical staff
- Schedule staff and assign daily routes and priorities
- Monitor productivity, citation accuracy, and compliance rates
- Handle escalated public complaints and operational issues
- Ensure adherence to city ordinances, labor agreements, and safety policies
- Prepare reports, performance metrics, and operational summaries
- Coordinate with city officials, law enforcement, and vendors
Qualifications
- Minimum 23 years of supervisory experience, preferably in parking or municipal operations.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and parking management software
- Valid California drivers license
- Experience working with municipal parking programs
- Knowledge of California parking regulations
Physical Demands
- Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, rain, etc. - Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds. - Ability to stand, walk for extended periods of time. - Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift. Good driving record. Must be able to pass Live Scan.
