Job Description
LPI Group are hiring a Site Supervisor- US Region. Reporting to the Project Manager (US) this field-based position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance of various sites and leading a team of Lightning Protection Technicians. The primary focus will be to ensure the efficient delivery of projects, maintain high-quality standards and foster positive client relationships. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills will be crucial in successfully managing the site team and delivering project expectations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operations and maintenance of various earthing & Lightning Protection projects, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
- ·Develop and implement maintenance schedules, work plans and procedures to ensure effective utilisation of resources, labour and timely completion of tasks.
- ·Conduct regular inspections to assess quality of work, identify maintenance needs and implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Coordinate with the site team to resolve any issues promptly and minimise disruptions to client operations.
- ·Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration and professional development.
- ·Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project Managers, understanding their needs, addressing any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards.
- ·Implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures to create a safe work environment for the site team and clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data centre construction industry or a similar role
- Electrical background advantageous but not essential
- Strong understanding of lightning protection systems, electrical engineering principles, and construction practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with clients, suppliers and team members.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to construction and electrical installations.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as German Dutch, French, or Spanish would be advantageous but not required.
