We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Massage Therapist at Murrieta Hot Springs Resort to provide exceptional guest experiences. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction through heartfelt service and caring connections. Our Murrieta Hot Springs Resort Massage Therapists cultivate rejuvenating, memorable experiences through attention to detail, quality, and care and embody our purpose of “caring for the enhanced vitality for all.”

Core Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort guests before and after their services with professionalism and warmth.
• Perform services including elements of Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal massage and spa body treatments.
• Personalize services based on guest requests and contraindications.
• Resolve guest challenges following proper conduct standards.
• At all times, demonstrate the highest level of professionalism in dealing with guests, staff and managers.
• Keep work area stocked and sanitized while maintaining professional appearance and standards.
• Adhere to all California Massage Therapy Council, Riverside County, City of Murrieta, and Spa regulations.
• Participate in further learning activities up to and including product knowledge.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of resort services, products and procedures.
• Focus on working in a safe manner and create a safe working environment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

• High work ethic, self-initiative, independent judgment
• Proven customer service and problem-solving experience.
• Regular attendance. Will be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to maintain excellent relationships and maintain guest confidentiality at all times.
• A current certification in Massage Therapy from the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC).
• Comfortable using computers and computer software.
• At least 2 years’ massage therapy experience preferred.
• At least 1 years’ spa experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, sit and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods of time.
• Bend, stoop, squat, and stretch.
• Lift approximately fifty (50) pounds of equipment or supplies using safe lifting techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, pulling, pushing.
• Direct evacuations in an emergency.
• Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, multi-line tone phone, filing cabinets, photocopiers, and other office equipment as needed.
