The Assistant Project Manager supports project managers by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, communicating with customers and vendors, and assisting in overall project execution. How You’ll Make An Impact
You will support multiple electrical infrastructure projects by coordinating schedules, documentation, and communication across teams.
- Works directly with the project managers to help implement project goals.
- Assigns duties to staff to implement project goals, as needed.
- Oversees multiple aspects of projects and provides direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
- Reviews, approves and manages submittals.
- Works with project leads to maintain project schedule and efficacy.
- Reviews project implementation and gathers data on project execution.
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Tracks and reports on project progress.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Electrical experience preferred
- At least three years of related experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project.
- Excellent Excel skills required, with proficient experience in Microsoft Office, and bidding software.
