Job Duties:

    Responsible for all day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger entries as well as overseeing AR and AP activities related to the general ledgerPerforms monthly financials close, including balance sheet reconciliation and income statement account reviewsManage fixed asset reportingAssists in preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysisProvide guidance and support to account payable and account receivables functionsManages cycle counts and reviews discrepancies and establish and ensures ongoing inventory controlsPayroll backupCoordinates with internal auditors during financial auditsMaintain internal controlsCollaborate with cross-functional teamsGross margin and reporting and analysisDemonstrates the Caldwell Values in all work activitiesComplies with and enforces all safety requirements

Minimum Education

    Bachelor’s degree in accountingC.P.A. designation preferred

Minimum Work Experience

    Five years’ proven experience as a Senior Accountant, manufacturing environment is a must

Minimum Skill Requirements

    In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departmentsAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times, stressful environmentProven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environmentDemonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to mentor and develop junior staff
