Description Overview

This role provides enterprise leadership across global IT E2E platforms (SAP, Service Now), data operations and technical strategy. This role oversees the current operations and future state of our ERP (SAP) landscape and Service Now platforms. This includes ERP and Non-ERP data operations, data integration (including EDI) and our future E2E data architecture. Balancing long-term strategic direction with operational excellence, the position collaborates closely with technology leaders across IT organizations to provide well-governed, scalable technology platforms across Perrigo.

Scope of the Role

Platform Operations

  • Provide executive oversight of critical E2E platform operations to ensure stability, performance, scalability, and security.
  • Monitor the performance and health of platforms on a regular basis.
  • Ensure core platforms and services effectively support business operations and evolving enterprise needs.
  • Drive operational excellence, service reliability, and continuous improvement across the IT E2E platforms in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Partner with others in the IT organization to ensure the highest priority projects and enhancements are enabled in the platforms.


Platform Strategy

  • Align core platform strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Deliver technology strategy and technical roadmaps to provide Perrigo direction to a technical target end state.
  • Work with vendors and partners to develop an innovative, fit-for-purpose strategic technical direction.
  • Partner with others in the IT organization to ensure the future direction is understood and supports the business outcomes in the long-term.
  • Align on budget and planning with IT Strategy & Governance.


Leadership & Collaboration

  • Act as a senior leader within the IT organization, contributing to enterprise leadership forums and decision-making bodies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior stakeholders to align technology, operational, and financial outcomes with business expectations.
  • Promote accountability, transparency, and effective communication across strategic, and operational and IT domains.
Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MIS, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with increasing responsibility across strategy, governance, infrastructure, and operations.
  • Digital and business knowledge to manage E2E platform technical strategy.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in the specific core systems (e.g., SAP, DataBricks,…).
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and make decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills (8-10+ years).
  • Proven track record of leading successful digital business transformation projects.
  • Cultivates a culture of trust, develops other leaders, acts with humility, and thinks more about others than self.
  • Highest integrity and ethics: Trusted to do the right thing for employees, customers, and shareholders. and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Superior interpersonal skills: Ability to interact easily with all levels within the organization; tactful; mature; flexible. No matter the level, communicates with authenticity and character.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and comfort with ambiguity. Energized by a fast-paced environment. Can operate at a strategic level and detailed executional level when needed. Not afraid to “roll up their sleeves” to get the job done.
