About Poseidon Aerospace:Poseidon Aerospace is a venture-backed startup building unmanned cargo planes for commercial and military logistics. We have raised $13M from top venture capital firms to develop the largest cargo drones in the world. We’ve successfully tested Seagull, our quarter-scale prototype, and are currently manufacturing Heron (seaplane) and Egret (STOL plane).
About the Maine Engineering Fellowship: The Maine Engineering Fellowship invests in Maine's industrial future by providing Maine engineers an opportunity to participate in advanced aerospace manufacturing at Poseidon's headquarters in San Francisco for 12 months. Drawing from Maine's rich heritage in naval and defense manufacturing and skilled workforce, fellows gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge aerospace applications before returning to apply these specialized skills in Maine either for Poseidon or for the state's broader manufacturing ecosystem.
You must be based in Maine to be eligible for the fellowship. Candidates interested in work as composite technicians should apply to our Maine Composites Bridge Program.
