Regional Marketing Manager at BANK OF MARIN – Rancho Cordova, California
About This Position
The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing localized marketing strategies that advance Bank of Marin’s growth objectives within the Sacramento region. This role partners with the Commercial Banking division to support growth initiatives, with a concentrated focus on the Sacramento market and an emphasis on expanding the Bank’s footprint in the region. In addition, the role will collaborate with the broader Marketing Team, as well as other internal partners, to support company-wide campaigns, events, sponsorships, and strategic projects. This individual should demonstrate a high level of strategic thinking and have the ability to develop, implement, and execute key initiatives. Strong marketing program development, copywriting, communication, analytical, and relationship building skills are required.
Essential Job Functions:
Marketing, Relationship Building, & Content Creation
- Develop and implement localized and targeted marketing strategies, presentations and campaigns to increase visibility and engagement within the Sacramento region.
- Research and recommend publications and advertising channels that elevate our brand presence in Sacramento.
- Act as a community connector, facilitating the introduction and enhancing relationships with key organizations and Bank of Marin.
- Assist with prospecting efforts through tailored outreach strategies and collateral.
- Provide marketing insights and tools that help bankers strengthen client relationships.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop localized content for newsletters, social media, and sponsored advertising.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all regional marketing activities.
- Contribute to internal communications that highlight Sacramento market successes and initiatives.
Event Planning & Sponsorships
- In conjunction with the Community Engagement Manager, identify opportunities for community sponsorships, partnerships, and community involvement that align with our brand and business objectives.
- Identify and recommend regional and industry marketing sponsorship opportunities that enhance brand visibility and strengthen relationships.
- Partner with the Marketing and Events Manager to plan and coordinate client‑facing events in Sacramento, ensuring alignment with broader business priorities.
- Assist with prospecting efforts through tailored outreach strategies and collateral.
- Support company-wide events and initiatives, providing project management, logistical and creative input as needed.
- Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and post-event reporting.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance of regional marketing efforts, including event ROI, campaign engagement, and lead generation.
- Prepare regular reports and recommendations for leadership on marketing impact in the Sacramento market.

- Ability to regularly work flexible hours is a requirement (early mornings, late evenings, and weekends)
Professional Experience:
5 – 7 years related experience and/or training.
Educational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
The hiring pay range for this position is $104,563- $154,088. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
