Hourly Pay range: $26.00 - $45.00 CAD per hour

SleepWorks Medical is dedicated to providing patients with early detection and treatment of fatal sleep disorders such as Obstructive Sleep Apnea. SleepWorks is a division of WELL Health Technologies (listed on the TSX) and is enrolled in the Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) supervised by the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Position Summary:

Position Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist / PSGT with SleepWorks, you will play a pivotal role in providing patient-centered care to individuals seeking sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting assessments, administering therapies, educating patients, and ensuring the highest standards of care. A strong interest in patient-centered experiences, along with knowledge of customer service and healthcare benefits/insurance, will be advantageous in this role.

What you will be doing:

Patient Assessment: Perform thorough assessments to diagnose sleep apnea and determine appropriate treatment plans.Patient Education: Educate patients on the proper use of equipment, therapy compliance, and lifestyle adjustments to improve sleep quality.Consultation: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plan.Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with healthcare regulations.Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and needs with empathy and professionalism.Insurance and Benefits: Assist patients in understanding their extended health care benefits and insurance coverage related to sleep apnea treatment.Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.

You have:

Strong interest in providing patient-centered care.Knowledge of customer service principles.Familiarity with extended health care benefits and insurance processes (a plus).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team.Experience with Sleep Apnea Therapy is an assetThe RT / PSGT must be able to drive and commute to work visiting various clinic locations on a weekly basis. Gas will be paid/reimbursed
