**Position:** Mexican Chef **Location:** Lagos, Nigeria **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Salary Range:** $3000 - $3500 per month **Local Allowance:** 250,000 NGN per month **Benefits:** Expat Package (visa assistance, flight ticket, accommodation, car and driver, pension, tax-free salary)

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Mexican Chef to join our team and bring the authentic flavors of Mexico to our esteemed guests.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop and design an authentic Mexican menu, including traditional dishes and innovative creations.- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Mexican dishes in accordance with the menu and hotel standards.- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to the highest culinary standards.- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage.- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to recipes and procedures.- Collaborate with the culinary team to create special menus and events.- Stay updated on culinary trends and continuously seek ways to enhance the guest dining experience.
**Requirements:**- Proven experience as a Mexican Chef, preferably in a high-end hotel or fine dining restaurant.- Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine, including traditional and contemporary dishes.- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.- Excellent cooking skills and creativity in menu development.- Strong leadership and team management skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
