About This Position
Job Description: Banquet Lead
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Banquet Lead to join our team. As a Banquet Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and execution of banquets and large-scale events. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless delivery of exceptional service and create memorable experiences for our clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of banquet operations, including planning, coordination, and execution of events.
- Collaborate closely with clients, event planners, and the venue staff to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations.
- Manage and coordinate logistics, including event setup, audiovisual requirements, décor, and any special requests.
- Supervise and train banquet staff, ensuring they deliver high-quality service and adhere to established standards.
- Maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure the banquet space is properly set up, maintained, and cleaned throughout the event.
- Monitor event progress, troubleshoot any operational challenges, and provide timely solutions.
- Coordinate with various departments, such as food and beverage, kitchen, and audiovisual teams, to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Anticipate and proactively address guest needs and requests, ensuring their utmost satisfaction.
- Uphold and enforce all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banquet operations or event management is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, guests, and team members.
- Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, making quick decisions and problem-solving as needed.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of event management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
Must have a valid drivers liscense
