Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-Time

Description:The Pool Lifeguard (part-time) position at Aquila Fitness is responsible for promoting a safe pool environment for all members and guests and responding to any emergencies in or around the pool.

The pay rate for Pool Lifeguards is $16 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

• Modeling and promoting the standards of the club

• Adhering to all policies and procedures including but not limited to timeliness, codes of conduct, dress and timekeeping

• Enforcing pool policies and standards of safe conduct for all members and guests

• Inspecting the pool area for hazardous conditions and take appropriate steps to eliminate risks, including keeping the pool area free of clutter to eliminate a hazardous situation

• Testing and recording chemical readings every hour

• Recognizing emergencies and responding effectively; completing any necessary accident reports

• Attending all trainings to maintain the necessary skills required

• Ensuring all necessary equipment is present in the pool area and notifying the Manager if additional supplies are needed

Requirements:

• Active Lifeguard certification
• Active First Aid and CPR/AED certification
