Laundry Worker in El Dorado Springs , Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) is recruiting a Laundry Worker.

Community Springs Healthcare Facility (CSHCF) is a 105-bed long-term care skilled nursing facility providing transitional or long-term care. A 15-bed high-functioning memory care unit provides specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's or other memory issues.

Description of department: Day shift begins at 4:00a.m. The team consists of multiple housekeepers, laundry workers, a floor technician, and the Director of Environmental Services.

A typical day will include: Sorting out personals or linens and rags from the dirty linens brought to Laundry by the Nursing department. Laundry workers are responsible for washing and drying the linens and rags. We fold and put away clothing in residents’ closets. At the end of the shift, we are responsible for dusting and cleaning our equipment.
