Job Description & Key Responsibilities
PRP Advisors is growing, and we are seeking a talented Asset Manager to join our Bankruptcy team in Winston Salem. In this role, you will compliment a collaborative and dedicated group of professionals in a company that prizes excellence in all we do. This role is a hybrid onsite position.
Responsibilities include:
- Work in an iterative, fast-paced environment with the transaction and asset management teams on a variety of data-focused projects including, but not limited, to:
- Reviewing reports and follow up on servicer requests with direction and information to facilitate handling
- Managing assigned loan portfolio, system of record and direct follow up items with internal and external parties
- Managing daily dashboard reports to confirm loans are moving through processes, identify when there is an issue that needs further handling, provide direction accordingly and manage the process through the identified risk
- Reviewing bankruptcy case dockets and pleadings for required action and strategy to maximize efficiency and reduce risk
- Bridging the gap between loan servicer and attorney firm
- Actively participating in continuous improvement efforts of process development and other key areas of focus
- Assisting with special projects with individual responsibility as part of a team effort
- Bankruptcy experience is required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Bankruptcy case management
- Excel, LPS, Tempo, and FiServ experience is helpful but not necessary.
- Ability to read and interpret bankruptcy pleadings.
- Problem solving with a sense of recognizing opportunities, understanding risks and acting quickly to overcome obstacles and reach a solution
- Working knowledge of loan servicing systems, such as FiServ and LPS are a plus, but not required
- Detail oriented and consistently maintain a high level of quality and accuracy
- Multitasker in a constantly changing, fast paced environment; Effective communicator with multiple servicers and internal business units; Ability to organize, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency with little to no oversight
- Strong team player with a high level of professionalism
