Health Educator in SAN ANTONIO, Texas at University Health System- San Antonio

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Works with the Family Engagement Program Manager to conduct outreach and educate community members on early childhood development. Health educators will engage child healthcare providers in early childhood initiatives of the Family Engagement program.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in community outreach, health education and/or partnership development is required. Experience in public speaking and/or educational presentations demonstrating effective communication skills is required. English/Spanish fluency is required. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License, auto liability insurance, and a reliable automobile.
