Porter/Custodian of Apartment Community at Carteret Management Corporation – Saint Petersburg, Florida

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking to fill a PORTER role responsible for the custodial and grounds keeping of an apartment community located in downtown Saint Petersburg, FL. This position offers full-time hourly employment at a competitive salary with a strong benefit package including:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
• Perform such functions as clearing debris from grounds, cleaning office and common areas.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
• Requisition housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Perform other general janitorial duties as assigned.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to perform general custodial duties.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment necessary to perform the porter's duties including: backpack vacuum, pressure washer, hand blower, etc.
• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, residents).
