Position Summary

This position assists the Circuit Breaker department in the maintenance and repair of circuit breaker systems.

Essential Duties

• Provides general entry level support to the Circuit Breaker department.
• Assist in the detection of overloading, tripping, discoloration, and damage on breaker house.
• Clean connections of corrosion, debris, faulty wiring., and other environmental factors.
• Troubleshoot switch gears and buckets.
• Troubleshoot for unstable power distribution, inconsistent operation, and improper wiring
• Assess loads and ensure correct breaker ratings and optimum equipment performance.
• Identifies and reports problems observed outside of normal use.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to comprehend and follow directions.
• Knowledge of MSHA and OSHA.
