Job Description:

Level 1 CNC operator. Operate CNC Lathe / Mill with supervisory assistance. Follow supervisor / lead verbal directions, able to use basic measuring tools to check and verify that completed operations meet drawing dimensions.

• Checks parts to maintain quality production;
• Performs regular manual tasks;
• Ensures that output normally equals or exceed that expected;
• Keeps quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work;
• Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards
• Working consistently, working overtime and traveling as required;
• Conducts himself/herself in a business-like and civil manner;
• Ability to react to change productively and perform other essential tasks assigned

Skills and Requirements:

• Due to need to maintain ITAR compliance, applicants must be U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
• Knowledge of CNC lathe / mill machining including set-ups as required;
• Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently perform pre-setups or set-ups of certain job operations on CNC lathes / mills;
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English;
• Ability to work with a number sequence;
• Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions;
• Be team oriented and possess flexibility and adaptability

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds;
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time;
• Must be able to do repetitive motion, arms, wrists, elbows and shoulders;
