Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Limited Energy Journeyman at Steele Electric, LLC. The Limited Energy Journeyman will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to the construction, improvement, repair, and replacement of limited energy electrical systems. This role is primarily located in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for occasional remote work & some evenings.

Qualifications

• The ability to analyze low-voltage electrical systems and diagnose issues
• Familiar with complete installation, service, and troubleshooting:
• Fire Alarm, Access Control, Surveillance, Security Alarm, Distributed Audio & Structure Cabling, Networking, and Fiber Optics; with familiarity with
• Potter, Silent Knight, PDK, Digital Watchdog, DSC, Ortronics, and Atlas preferred
• A true leader in their role while managing projects and people
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• Experience in the electrical industry is a plus
• Relevant certifications and licenses preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Comfortable working at safe heights and confined spaces
• Ability to pass background checks and drug testing is a must
• Excellent driving record preferred
